ABOUT ME
My name is Olivia Franklin, and I am the hands behind all the letters you'll find on this website. Calligraphy has weaved its way through seasons of my life as a source of creative therapy. In 2014, I attended a Millsaps beginner calligraphy class hosted by a local calligrapher. Ten years later, here I am, in love with the art more than ever. Most of my work revolves around calligraphy in the wedding world, but I do commissioned pieces as well. Calligraphy is an old art that requires time, precision, and care. I feel a sense of honor being able to carry this discipline on into this century.
Aside from calligraphy, I am behavior analyst, a sister, a daughter, a dog mom, a proud Jacksonian and Belhaven resident, and a wife to my best friend. I'm a sucker for a road trip and a late night excursion to Bops. Good music is required. I'm really bad at all sports, cleaning dishes, doing laundry, and going to bed early. Fall is the best season, and October is the best month. If I was stranded on an island and I could only take one show, I could not decide between the Office and Gilmore Girls. I stroll through life with ADD, and I've paradoxically accepted it as my personal ruin and superpower. Nice to meet you!
